I created the ISERATH story many years ago. I cannot remember the exact date, but it varies around 2010. The main idea was to have not particularly a zombie apocalypse or an alien invasion, but somewhere in between. The original story consisted of a meteorite, actually being an alien egg, in which the disease started to spread.
In the bitstrips comic series, you will notice that it is much like a zombie apocalypse. That had been my only choice that was close enough to what my present idea currently is. To be honest, it is nothing like a zombie impression. Instead, the infected of the reactor incident turn into creatures. This consists of arms turning into more of long stabbing spikes make from the bone ripping from the skin, or finger bones ripping through, turning to claws. This would be considered as a phase one infection. Later phases, the infected become more horrific and disfigured, looking more like creatures.
Same as my original concept to the story, a group of survivors try to escape, but find out there is a possible cure. There was a part in my original story that I did not include in the bitstrips comic, version 2 of the story that consisted of a more rebellious theme with the citizens that turns out more of a genocide. Meanwhile this all takes place on the Iserath island which is presumably inescapable. Little chance of being able to get across the tramway bridge without being gunned down, and no other country wants to get involved, leaving Iserathians to fend for themselves.
Please let me hear your thoughts, questions or concerns below!
